Privacy policy
1. About this policy
This policy explains how PRIORITIER ("Prioritier", "we", "us") handles information when your studio uses the Prioritier app (the "Service"). It is written for the people who work at a studio and sign in to the Service.
By accepting it, the person signing in confirms that they are authorised to do so on behalf of their studio. When this policy changes in a way that matters, we will ask your studio to read and accept the new version before you continue.
2. Who is responsible for what
Your studio decides what information to enter about its customers and why. Your studio is responsible for having a lawful reason to collect it, for any notices or consents it owes its customers (including parents or guardians), and for keeping it accurate.
We act as your studio's service provider. We handle that information only to provide the Service to your studio, as described here.
For information about studio staff and their sign-ins, which we collect to run the Service securely, we are responsible for how it is used.
3. Information we handle
- Account information: your studio's name and sign-in name, and a password that we keep only as a one-way scrambled value, so we cannot read it. When you accept this policy we also record the name you type, the date and time, and the version you accepted.
- Information your studio enters: events and deadlines; garments and orders, including each customer's name, your work numbers, sizes and measurements, fabric details, notes and client details; team names and working hours; settings; daily work sheets; and the history of changes to each garment.
- Files your studio uploads: designs and supporting documents (images and PDFs) attached to garments, and photographs or scans of your printed daily sheets. These can show customer names and notes that are written on them.
- Technical information: like most online services, our hosting records basic details of each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page or file requested and the time. We also keep a short-lived record of failed sign-in attempts, stored in scrambled form, to protect against password guessing.
4. How we use it
- To provide, maintain and improve the Service for your studio, including working out priorities and printing sheets.
- To read photographed sheets: when you upload a photo of a sheet, we send it to an automated reading service that works out which stages were ticked and any notes, so that you can review them before anything on your board changes.
- To keep the Service secure and to prevent misuse.
- To help your studio when you ask for support or when something goes wrong.
- To comply with the law.
We do not sell your studio's information, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Who else handles it
We use these companies to run the Service. They handle information only to provide their service to us, under their own terms and privacy policies:
- Vercel: runs the application's servers, in the United States.
- Turso: hosts the database, in the United States.
- Cloudflare: stores uploaded files, in North America.
- OpenRouter and the model provider it routes to: read photographed sheets. We currently use a United States endpoint. Only the photo you upload for reading is sent.
We may change providers. If the change matters, we will update this policy. We do not otherwise share your studio's information, except where the law requires it or to protect people or the Service from harm.
6. Where information is stored
Your studio's information is stored and handled in the United States. If you or your customers are elsewhere, your information will be transferred to the United States.
8. When our team can see your information
The Service is built so that one studio cannot see another studio's information. Our team, however, can technically reach the database and files in order to run the Service.
We look at a studio's information only when needed to give support you have asked for, to fix a problem, to keep the Service secure, or where the law requires, and we use the most limited access that will do the job.
9. How long we keep information
- Your studio's information is kept while your studio uses the Service.
- If your studio is closed or asks us to delete its information, we delete its records and uploaded files. Copies in our database provider's short-term backups disappear as those backups expire, currently within about a day.
- Records of failed sign-in attempts are kept for about an hour.
- You can download your garment list and your override log as spreadsheets (CSV) from the app at any time.
10. How we protect information
- Connections to the Service are encrypted.
- Passwords are never stored in readable form.
- Each studio's information is kept separate from every other studio's, and we test that separation automatically.
- Access to our systems is limited to what is needed to run the Service.
No online service can promise perfect security. If we learn of a breach that affects your studio's information, we will tell your studio without undue delay so that it can meet any duties it has to its customers.
11. Children's information
Studios may record the names and measurements of customers who are under 18. The Service is for studio staff and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Your studio is responsible for any consent it needs from parents or guardians.
12. Requests about information
If someone asks your studio to see, correct or delete their information, your studio can usually do this in the app. If you need our help, contact us and we will assist your studio. If a customer of your studio contacts us directly, we will refer them to the studio.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the way we handle information changes. Each version has a date. When a change matters, we will ask your studio to accept the new version before you continue using the Service.
